Do What You Love!

Ladies, why is it that you don’t seek work or fulfillment in what excites you or nurtures your innate creativity or passion instead of settling for mediocrity? Year in and year out, you follow the same old ritualistic schedule of going to work 8-5 Monday thru Friday to what is usually not a desired or planned career choice, but rather a job that you hate. This job barely pays the bills and rarely leaves much of anything to splurge on without leaving you in a deficit. You have no defined plan, just a false sense of security that renders you totally dependent, miserable and most importantly unfulfilled. You are convinced that this is the only way to live, and anyone who has an excess of time freedom, fame, fortune, or are just plain happy are among the lucky chosen few whom God has shown favoritism. You live your life doing what you have to do just to survive, because you don’t believe that you can do better or that you have any other options.

You are among a vast majority of women who don't take action because they are allowing themselves to be guided by fear. Underneath the fear is a longing to understand how to do more and how to be more. Fortunately, we are living in a time that people are becoming more conscious and in tune with their purpose in life. Intuitively you know that your journey on planet earth is meant to be enjoyed and not just tolerated or dealt with, but you don’t know what you want to do more less where to begin or how to figure it out.

The historic election of our nation’s first African American President, Barack Obama is a clear indication that change is in the air. It’s always easier to believe in someone else then to believe in yourself, but the change that is taking place must include you. What are you going to do to make your life and the world a better place? We have to stop telling our children that they can be anything they want to be yet we do nothing with our lives. Remember that you are their first and foremost example to your children. What example are you setting for your children right now?

Are you honestly happy or comfortable with your life at this time? What do you really want out life? There is an old saying that states that if you find something you love to do, you'll never work a day in your life. If you could choose to be and do anything you wanted, what would it be? Maybe you have magic hands that can cook and set someone’s soul on fire after they take a bite of your food? Are you an undiscovered comedian who can make people laugh into hysterics? Can you sing, dance, paint or draw? Maybe you can sew and design fashions that deserve to be on the runways of the world. Are you good with children? Or maybe you have an over active imagination and should be a published author or movie producer. Maybe you don’t have a clue what you want to do and will have to dig deep to discover your creativity. No matter what, life is waiting for you to take the first step.

A strong vision is how all things begin to manifest and is all that is initially required. To propel you forward, learn to become grateful for everything that you already have in your life. Sincere gratitude attracts more positivity. Take deliberate time to get quiet, meditate and ask your inner guide (intuition) for assistance. Make it clear that you want to do more with your life and that you are willing to grow. Begin to dream, and visualize about what it is that you are wanting. Write down your dreams and desires on paper in addition to the answers that come to you intuitively. Read books that inspire, uplift and help to erase the negative patterns of thinking that you have been indoctrinated into.

Don’t cast your pearls to the swine by sharing your plans with dream stealer's. Just do what you do and let your results speak for you. Surround yourself around positive people.

Let go of the excuses about not having the time to put anymore activities on your plate. Just scrape all that time wasting, energy draining junk into the trash to make room for what is really important.

Don't let hard economical times slow you down or get you depressed. Avoid the news as much as possible. The universe is going through a cycle of cleansing that is necessary when we as humans let things get out of control. This is a time to go into deep reflection and analyze ourselves. Whatever happens in your life no matter what it is should be looked upon as a stepping stone and not as an obstacle. If you get knocked down you get back up and keep doing what needs to be done until you get the results you are seeking.

Make it clear to yourself that your job is a temporary inconvenience and not a permanent nightmare that you will endure only while you are setting yourself up for a more spiritually fulfilling journey.

Most importantly learn to release the past, stay in the present and let the future evolve step by step and moment by moment.

The key is to begin. It’s time to stop simply existing and start living. Be the best you can be. The world needs what you have to offer.
